A girl missing from her York home since Sunday has been found safe.
Police appealed for the public’s help to find the 17-year-old, who left home at about 11.40am on Sunday and didn’t return.
On Wednesday afternoon they issued this positive update: “The 17-year-old teenager, Lily, missing from York, has been found safe in the West Yorkshire area today.
“We appealed for information about her in the early hours of Monday morning.
“Thank you to everyone who assisted with publicity.”
