Police are investigating a serious sexual assault in York.
A woman was attacked in the Memorial Gardens off Leeman Road.
The incident was reported at 4.41am today (Thursday 16 June) and the woman is receiving specialist support while police enquiries continue.

This afternoon, police said they had arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with the inquiry.
The suspect is currently being questioned in custody.
Earlier, police cordoned off the gardens. Crime scene tape bound up the wrought iron gates to the main entrance.
Tape also ran from the near the city walls to the gates, and across a large swathe of the gardens, to the right of the war memorial looking from Leeman Road.
Three separate police guards were stationed at three entrances to the park.
Tonight a partial cordon is still in place.
Witnesses or anyone with information are urged to call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 1, and speak to the Force Control Room.
