A driver has died after a crash in York today (Thursday).
It happened on Kingsland Terrace near Leeman Road at 9.46am.
Police, fire and ambulance were all called to the collision, believed to be between two vehicles.
A bus was held at the scene, and a blue car was also within the cordon.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Sadly, the driver of one of the vehicles involved has since died.
“Officers are currently investigating the causes of the collision, but they have not ruled out the possibility that it could be related to a medical episode.”
Police sealed off Kingsland Terrace and Salisbury Terrace. The road was shut for three and a half hours.
At 1.39pm, York Travel revealed the road had reopened.
