These pictures show the rescue operation after a bus crashed off a North Yorkshire bridge.
Two people were hurt in the incident, which happened in Grosmont near Whitby at about 1.40pm yesterday (Saturday).
The bus, believed to be an Arriva North East 96 service, crashed through a bridge at Front Street and into the shallow River Esk below.
These pictures, from Scarborough and Ryedale Search and Rescue, show their volunteers helping emergency services at the scene.
Five people were on board the bus. None was seriously hurt.




Today (Sunday) North Yorkshire Police issued this update: “The scene was clear by 10pm on Saturday following the recovery of the bus using a crane.
“The damaged bridge remains closed which is being managed by Highways.”
