A man has been rescued after a car crash in North Yorkshire this morning (Thursday).
Emergency services were called to Topcliffe Road, Sowerby, near Thirsk at 5.28am.
Only one vehicle was involved.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Thirsk fire crew have just been requested by ambulance to assist in transporting an unconscious casualty following a single car road traffic collision which has resulted in the car being in a field.
“The casualty is not trapped, but additional crew power is required to help move them from the field and to an ambulance on the road.”
