Two York musicians are teaming up on a brand new musical project – and their first single releases tomorrow.
Heather Findlay, formerly of Mostly Autumn, and Simon Snaize have joined up to create The Bee Tellers, a new musical project that brings together folk and Americana with rock and soulful blues.
Their debut single River Poem is out tomorrow, Friday 19 April.
“River Poem was a joy to create and very much like a river, it flowed out of us and onto the page,” Simon told YorkMix.
“It is a message of light, love and upliftment, and we hope those feelings are shared with everyone who connects with it. For the Bee Tellers, River Poem is the start of a beautiful journey and we invite you all to join us on it.”
“I have worked with Si on various musical collaborations over the last 25 years or so, but this is our first attempt at actually writing songs together,” added Heather.
“I deeply love the song, along with its message.”
The single River Poem can be downloaded via The Bee Tellers’ website.
The Bee Tellers will be performing at the HRH Prog festival on Saturday 19 October 2024. Find out more here.
