Two pregnant sheep shot in York – Police launch investigation
Police are investigating after two pregnant sheep were shot on the outskirts of York.
The sheep were shot in a field off Elvington Lane, Dunnington.
It happened some time between Tuesday 28 February and Wednesday 1 March.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“They’d particularly like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area or anyone with information which would assist their enquiries.”
