Two people required treatment for smoke inhalation after a house fire in York.
Fire crews from York and Acomb were called to the fire in a property on Caedmon Close, a cul-de-sac off Stockton Lane, at 9.09pm on Friday (July 7).
They found a well-developed fire in the kitchen.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
Both occupants in the house were out on arrival of the fire crews but were suffering from the affects of smoke inhalation.
Crews administered first aid and oxygen until the arrival of ambulance crews.
