Police issued two separate appeals to find missing North Yorkshire teenagers today (Saturday) – and both have been found safe and well.
The first appeal was to find a missing 16-year-old from the Foxwood area of York, who hadn’t been seen since 2.30pm yesterday (5 January).
The second was for a 14-year-old girl from Sherburn-in-Elmet, last seen at about 10.15pm on Thursday (4 January).
This evening North Yorkshire Police issued this update: “Earlier today we posted two separate missing person appeals, for teenage girls from York and Sherburn-in-Elmet.
“We’re pleased to say that both girls have been found safe and well. Thanks for your help!”
