Police are hunting for two men after a 12-year-old girl was subjected to a sexual offence in York.
The incident happened in Acomb, on the cycle track near Acorn Rugby Club on Thanet Road, between 5.30pm and 6pm last Monday (27 January).
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for information about two men after a sexual offence against a 12-year-old girl was reported in York.

“An investigation is already under way.
“Two men, described as being approximately 40, wearing dark clothing and riding black bicycles, approached the girl and one of the men touched her inappropriately.
“As part of the investigation, we are now appealing for information and any significant CCTV or doorbell footage taken around the time of the incident.”
