Turpin, of Markham Crescent, and Hudson, of Rowntree Avenue, were arrested following the discovery of Mr McNally’s body inside the flat last Wednesday after police were called to the quiet cul-de-sac in The Groves.
Judge Rodney QC Jameson adjourned the case for a plea hearing on November 15. A trial date was scheduled for April 26 next year.
Both men were remanded in custody.
