Police had to break up a fight in York which left two people hurt.
The incident took place in the early hours of today (Friday, December 29).
Police received reports of an altercation involving a number of men and women outside Boyes on Front Street shortly before 12.40am.
Upon arrival, officers found five men and four women to be involved. An assault had also taken place.
A 23-year-old man was injured after being punched and kicked. Another man, 33, had injuries to his head and hand.
Two men from York, aged 23 and 33, were arrested in connection with the incident. Both men have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
