Firefighters from two stations were called out to an fire in York last night (Monday).
Crews from Huntington and York responded to a report of a fire in a garage in Willow Bank, New Earswick at 7.50pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews located a small fire within a garage measuring 6m x 3m.

“Crews extinguished the fire that consisted of a number of bags of rubbish at the rear of the garage.
“The fire was confined to the rubbish only.”
