The A64 has fully reopened after two crashes on the same stretch of road caused problems on Sunday.
The A64 between the B1248 near Malton and the A1237 near York was restricted to one lane in both directions due to a collision on the westbound York Road junction.
Police were directing traffic around the incident.
And one was lane closed causing queueing traffic due to a crash on the A64 eastbound from Barton Hill Crossroads to the A169 Old Malton roundabout.
The restrictions were removed later on Sunday evening.
