Firefighters have been tackling a blaze that engulfed two caravans in York this afternoon (Thursday).
Crews from York and Acomb were called to North Lane, Huntington at 3.18pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said the fire involved “two abandoned caravans”.

“Severe fire, heat and smoke damage” was caused to a static caravan and an adjacent touring caravan.
There were two propane cylinders involved in the fire that were left to safely vent off. No people were in or near the caravans.
The cause is believed to be deliberate.
