Two bikers were killed on a head-on smash in North Yorkshire at the weekend.

The collision happened around 11.50am yesterday (Sunday 25 April) on the A6108 just outside of the village of Masham.

A blue BMW R1200RT motorbike was travelling along the road from the direction of Leyburn and a red Moto Guzzi motorbike was travelling the opposite direction, when they collided.

Both drivers, a 57 year old man and a 59 year old man both from North Yorkshire, were sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.

If you witnessed or have dashcam footage of the collision or either vehicle driving along the A6108 prior to the accident – or have any other information which could help establish the full circumstances of this investigation – please contact North Yorkshire Police.
