A TV star added some showbiz stardust to the festive decorations at a York shop today (Friday).
Happy Valley actor James Norton popped into Thora & The Prince to do a bit of Christmas shopping.
James, 37, definitely brought a smile to the face of staff and customers of the shop at The Village, Haxby.
“Happy valley all the way here today…Christmas gift arrived in store early!” owner Rachel Stott posted on the shop’s Instagram.
James was born in London but grew up in Ryedale, went to Ampleforth College, and has family live in Malton.
As well as playing Tommy Lee Royce in Happy Valley, the last series of which begins in the new year, James is well know for starring in Grantchester and McMafia.
He’s also had leading roles in films including Little Women and Rogue Agent and currently is a 10-1 bet to be the next James Bond.
James looked set to buy some Mega Bloks at the Thora & The Prince, a shop selling all manner of sustainable gifts.
