The annual Tulip Festival at Burnby Hall Gardens in Pocklington is back for 2023.
The popular event will take place from Saturday 22 April to Saturday 6 May – and promises to be the most spectacular festival yet.
This year, the Gardens will be adorned with over 18,000 colourful and vibrant tulips of more than 130 varieties. They will be displayed both in tubs and the main flower beds across the site.
There are sure to be some lovely displays to spot – as the Gardens are seven times consecutive winners of the prestigious Yorkshire in Bloom Gold Award.
The Tulip Festival attracts thousands of visitors to Pocklington’s unique gardens every year.
The display has been planned by head gardener, Jill Ward, and is the culmination of months of preparation by herself and the gardening team at Burnby Hall Gardens.
The Gardens are open between 10am and 5:30pm daily – with last entry at 4:30pm. You can book your visit in advance, or just turn up on the day!
