Fire crews were called out to York city centre after a lorry caught fire.
The blue G4S Security truck got into trouble on Parliament Street at its junction with Market Street at about 12.15pm on Friday (February 9).
A crew from York fire station responded to the call.
The fire involved the rear of the truck only. Crews made the vehicle safe and awaited the arrival of recovery truck.
The cause of fire is believed to be a faulty motor.
