Tom Grennan announced to play York Racecourse next year

Singer-songwriter, Tom Grennan, is set to perform at York Racecourse next year.

The award-winning vocalist will headline Music Showcase Saturday, 25 July 2026, it was revealed on YorkMix Radio this morning (Friday).

He’s the first music act to be announced for the 2026 season at York Racecourse, with further acts for Summer Music Saturday and the Friday evening still to be confirmed.

Tickets go on sale today, Friday 24 October, at 10am via the York Racecourse website.

James Brennan, head of marketing and sponsorship said, “It’s great news that Tom Grennan is joining the artists to have performed on the Knavesmire, a performer who has gone from strength to strength.

“It will herald a month for music and racing fans to remember.”

Grennan has already secured two UK Number One albums, including a host of commercially successful singles such as ‘This Is the Place’, ‘By Your Side’ with Calvin Harris , ‘Remind Me’, ‘All These Nights’, ‘Here’ and ‘How Does It Feel’.

On the racecourse itself, the racing action will see seven thoroughbred contests with combined prize money of £380,000. The feature race is a Group Two, the Sky Bet York Stakes.

It promises to be a fun-filled summer for racing and music fans as there are four other racedays scheduled – beginning with Summer Music Saturday (27 June), the traditional highlight of the 67th John Smith’s Cup Meeting (Friday 10 and Saturday 11 July) will be followed by the opening Friday evening of Music Showcase Weekend itself at the end of July.

The price freeze on adult general admission means entrance to the main Grandstand and Paddock enclosure starts at £40 per person for a group of six.
