    Power cut hits York

There’s been a power cut in York this morning. The postcodes it is affecting are listed above. Northern Powergrid say the outage is due to “an unexpected problem with the cables or equipment” in the area.

They have already restored power to some of the 180 properties affected and hope to have everyone back on by 1pm.
