Vallée des Pins Rosé 2014, Côteaux d’Aix en Provence
Relax fellas, it’s all right to drink rosé. I know this because I read it in a Sunday newspaper magazine.
The amazing revelation was contained in one of those ‘what is fashionable and what is not’ sections, which I assume is usually written by a Year 10 work experience girl, under the subhead “Brosé” (lol).
So gentlemen, you are now cleared to sip on a 125ml glass of blush at your local, without fear of ridicule by the landlord.
£7.49 at Majestic

However, if you are still feeling wary of coming out of the vinous-closet, nip down to Majestic and grab a bottle of Vallée Des Pins Rosé 2014, Côteaux d’Aix en Provence and ask for a plain brown paper bag.
Bone dry and refreshing this Provençal pink is a blend of of grenache, syrah, cinsault and cabernet sauvignon grapes.
Suggesting flavours of red summer fruits, peach, lavender and just a hint of honey, it will match well with salmon dishes and salads.
