Christmas can’t be far away – tickets are now on sale for this year’s York Community Carol Concert.

Now in its 59th year, the Barbican concert is one of the city’s most Christmassy events.
The Shepherd Group Concert Brass Band will accompany the community carols, conducted by our assistant musical director, Mike Pratt. And concert regular Steve Cassidy will perform again.
Appearing for the very first time at this year’s events will be:
Archies Boys Aloud
Lord Deramore’s Primary School Choir.
Once again host the Rev Andrew Foster will keep an eye on proceedings whilst our musical director, John Warburton will wield the baton for his 38th appearance at the Carol Concert.
Proceeds from the event support the Lord Mayor and Sheriff of York’s Christmas Cheer Fund and The York Press Community Appeal for Christmas supporting York Mind.
