Emergency services were called to a two-car crash in York last night (Friday).
It happened on Chapelfields Road at 9.24am.
Firefighters from Acomb responded to reports that a car was smoking after the collision.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The driver of a Nissan Micra was in the care of paramedics on the fire crew’s arrival.
“Three occupants of an Audi made off from the scene on foot as police arrived. Fire crew made the scene and vehicles safe.”
