A girl got stuck up a tree – then two men tried to rescue her and got stuck too.
In the end all three had to be rescued by the fire brigade.
A fire crew from Huntington were called out to the incident on Windsor Drive, Wigginton, at 3.52pm on Saturday (August 19).
They were asked to help a 13-year-old girl who was stuck about 8 metres high up a tree.
But they actually needed to assist three people. Two men who had heard the girl shouting for help whilst walking their dogs tried to help.
They climbed the tree to assist but found they couldn’t get down either.
The firefighters used a 9m ladder to rescue the girl and provided assistance for the men.
