It’s been another night where York firestarters have been active.
Crews have been called to three fires started deliberately in the city.
The first was at 6.25pm at New Earswick. York firefighters used knapsack sprayers to put it out.
At 7.54pm they were called to a fire set on Calf Close, Haxby, putting it out with a bucket of water.
And the same method was used by the Acomb crew to extinguish a small grass fire started deliberately on Beech Grove at 8.29pm.
On each occasion the police were informed.
