Three fire crews tackled a fire in a York flat on Tuesday night (July 17).
The crews from Acomb, Huntington and York attended reports of a fire in a ground floor flat with people trapped inside on Bramham Road at 10.40.
On arrival, crews found that all inside has escaped unhurt and were accounted for at the scene.
The fire was in the kitchen. Firefighters in breathing apparatus put it out and used a ventilation fan to clear smoke.
