Firefighters tackled a house fire in Ryedale yesterday (Wednesday).
Pickering, Helmsley and Malton crews were called to reports of a black smoke seen coming from the home in Ryedale View, Kirkbymoorside at about 3.17pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “All persons were accounted for and uninjured.

“Crews used breathing apparatus, hose reels, thermal imaging cameras, lighting and small tools.
“The cause is still under investigation.”
That investigation was carried out with Northern Powergrid, requested due to a melted external fuse board.
