Drivers will be able to pull over for a caffeine fix at a new drive-thru near York, if plans get the green light.
Designs for a long-planned Starbucks drive-thru on the A64 have been submitted to City of York Council.
The council granted permission for the former Four Alls Inn on the Malton Road at Stockton On The Forest to be turned into a café with drive thru last year.
Now plans for the signs have been submitted, suggesting that the new café is getting closer to operation.
There will be a totem pole sign, the familiar Starbucks logo, menu board and traffic direction boards.
The Starbucks will be in the main building of the former pub. The café is set to be on the ground floor with offices above.
Meanwhile, as YorkMix reported last year, Cooplands is planning a drive-thru bakery on the same site.
It submitted plans to serve up sweet and savoury treats in what was the garage for the long-closed Four Alls Inn.
