Thieves raided a York café in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).
At 2.55am someone kicked the door in at Mooboo Bubble Tea on Walmgate and grabbed the cash drawer from the till before leaving.
Police are asking witnesses to come forward.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re particularly appealing for information about any unusual activity in the area and anyone who may have seen a person dressed in dark clothing with their hood up and a backpack on, pushing a bicycle.”
