Some traffic disruption continues today due to floodwater.
- The bridge in Bubwith remains closed to traffic this morning (Wednesday, 13 December).
- Castlegate in Malton is shut.
- In Stamford Bridge Buttercrambe Road is still shut
- Cawood Bridge is closed.
- Common Lane B1228 at Sutton on Derwent is closed.
- In Norton, Norton Road is back open, but one-way only.
Tadcaster Bridge reopened yesterday.
There are still three flood warnings in place for York:
- River Ouse at Naburn Lock
- River Ouse at York – riverside properties
- River Ouse at York – St George’s Field and Queen’s Staith
In North Yorkshire, these flood warnings are still in place:
- River Derwent at Buttercrambe Mill
- River Derwent at Stamford Bridge – The Weir Caravan Park and Kexby Bridge
- River Wharfe at Ryther.
The level of the River Ouse at 8am was 3.74am, down from a peak of 4.18m yesterday. It is forecast to keep falling.
