There are some cats with fabulous names up for adoption at the moment.
Mash Potato, Hot Cross Bun and Jimmy Chew are all seeking new homes at the York Cats Protection Adoption Centre.
But our favourite has to be… Bendy Trevor!
The 11-year-old domestic long hair was handed into the adoption centre “as he was not getting on with his owner’s new dog”, the adoption centre says.
“You would not believe this beautiful boy was then left outside to fend for himself.
“Our boy Trevor clearly doesn’t hold a grudge and has made himself right at home here at the centre in just a short space of time.
“He loves nothing more than a fuss and bowl of something tasty.
“Trevor is looking for a quiet loving home, fit for royalty, where he can enjoy the outdoors but also has access to all the luxuries of being inside.”
There’s no explanation about how he got his name.
Bendy Trevor can live with children, but not dogs or other cats. To find out more about Bendy Trevor, and the other cats up for adoption, go to the York Cats Protection Adoption Centre website.
