It’s almost time for the YorkMix Family Raceday!
The family raceday has been a staple of the York Races season for many years – and YorkMix are so excited to be teaming up with the racecourse this year to make it the best yet.
The day promises fun for all the family with a seven-race thoroughbred card and the return of the ‘Big Top Entertainment Marquee’ – which has included giant inflatables, a children’s zoo, face painting and much more.
And it’s free for kids!
A special race you won’t want to miss will be the young riders taking part in the Pony Racing Series.
Gates will open at 11:15am on Sunday 5 September with the first race at 1:10pm.

And that’s not all! The popular children’s character and hero of both page and screen, Peter Rabbit will be making an appearance at the YorkMix Family Raceday.
The character will make appearances throughout the afternoon on the Edwardian Weighing Room Lawn.
YorkMix hope that you’re as excited for the day as we are. Here’s everything you need to know…
