The York Oratory reopened on Monday.
Following the government guidance, the Oratory, better known to many as Saint Wilfrid’s Church, on Duncombe Place, opposite York Minster, will be open every day from noon-4pm.
There is no admission charge.
A spokesman for the church said: “All are most welcome, whether you want a quiet, cool sit down or a socially-distanced talk with one of the priests.
“A one-way system is in operation, sanitising-stations are available, and volunteers are on hand to assist visitors.”
