A teenager has been arrested after an incident at a York village.
Just after 11pm last Friday (28 March), police were called to reports of a large-scale gathering at a home in the Beech Avenue area of Bishopthorpe.
This then spilled out into the surrounding streets, including Maple Avenue.

A teenager was arrested and a bladed weapon was recovered. He has since been released on bail as enquiries continue.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Due to the nature of the incident, it is believed that more people may have been involved.
“As part of the investigation, we are appealing for witnesses to any violence or threats in the area on 28 March.
“We are particularly appealing for any doorbell, dashcam and CCTV footage that may have captured anyone in the Beech Avenue and Maple Avenue areas from 11pm onwards.”
