Teenage girl leads gang attack and robbery on York man
The incident happened at about 4am on Sunday, March 29 as the 40-year-old man from York was walking along Lawrence Street in York near to the Jet garage.
He was approached by a teenage girl who engaged him in conversation before assaulting him. A group of other people, believed to be men, then attacked the victim from behind, kicking and punching him.
They stole his phone, wallet and other personal items.
The victim sustained cuts and bruises during the incident and was very shaken up what happened.
