A teenage gang attacked two men in Selby town centre early yesterday (Saturday, 18 December).
The men were walking home at 3.30am along Park Street towards the bus station.
They were approached by about seven young men.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Both males were then assaulted by the group outside Selby Bus Station near to the office.
“One has been punched to the face and the other has been knocked to the ground and kicked numerous times in the head.”
The group are reported to have then fled the scene, running round the back of the bus station towards the train station.
They were described as being around 16 to 18 years old wearing dark tracksuits.
One was described as wearing a black T-shirt and had Adidas three-stripe tracksuit bottoms on.
