A young cyclist was hurt in a hit-and-run collision with a van.
It happened between 3.15 and 3.30pm on Tuesday 19 November.
The 17-year-old male cyclist was turning left onto Lancaster Way from Water Lane when the collision occured with a white transit-style van.
The van failed to stop and it is believed it continued straight ahead on Water Lane in the direction of Clifton.
The cyclist has a suspected fractured left wrist as a result of the collision.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said:

We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicle prior to or after the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.
In particular, we are appealing for any dash-cam footage of the incident or if you are the driver of the van please contact us.
