This is a man police want to speak to after the stabbing in York at the weekend.
He is Dean Barrett, 28, from York.
Detectives want to talk to him in connection with the disturbance on Etty Avenue in Tang Hall in which a man was stabbed. It happened at around midnight on Saturday (July 8).
Two men have been arrested and released on bail as the investigation continues. Police enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

As part of their enquiries officers would like to speak Barrett as he may have important information that could assist the investigation.
Anyone who sees Barrett or knows where he is urged to contact them.
Barrett is described as
- white
- 5ft 6ins tall
- of medium build
- with dark brown hair
- and brown eyes.
It is believed he may be in York.
