A taste of Latin America has arrived on Church Street.
In what used to be vegan restaurant Once Across the Garden, 10 Church Street is now a home for Tricolor York.
Serving up Colombian street food ‘made with love’, Tricolor opened at its new location at the end of August.
It was previously located at Spark.
The menu includes sweet fried plantain (tajadas, from £5), empanadas; pastry filled with crushed potatoes, sofrito and filling of your choice (£5), loaded fries (papitas fritas, £11) – and more tasty treats.
On their website, Tricolor say that the ‘best reward is the happy faces of our customers’ and that ‘the consumer is not just a customer, but a potential family member to be nurtured.’
Tricolor is open Tuesday to Thursday 12-9pm, Friday and Saturday 12-10pm, and Sunday 12-8pm.
For more information about Tricolor, visit their website, Facebook or Instagram.
