Firefighters were called out this afternoon (Saturday) to a fire at a city centre restaurant.
It happened at the Vitoria on Coppergate at about 2.10pm.
Crews from York, Acomb and the aerial ladder from Huntington were sent to the three-storey building after wooden joists above the pizza oven caught fire.
