Much-loved comedian Frankie Boyle is heading to York next month – but not for a comedy show.
He’ll be at City Screen Picturehouse to discuss his crime debut novel Meantime.
Set in Glasgow in the aftermath of the Independence referendum, the thriller follows an unlikely trio on a wild ride through Glasgow’s multicultural present and past.
Frankie Boyle: In conversation at City Screen Picturehouse York will take place on Friday 15 July at 7pm.
Meantime will be Frankie Boyle’s fifth book, and his first work of fiction. His bestselling non-fiction books include My Shit Life So Far and Work! Consume! Die!.
Known for his cynical and often controversial humour, Frankie has appeared on various comedy panel shows such as Mock the Week and 8 out of 10 Cats, as well presenting his own shows like BBC2’s Frankie Boyle’s New World Order.
Tickets cost £19 – which includes a copy of Meantime – and are available here.
