On Saturday night over 500 people came together to walk 7 miles as part of St Leonard’s Hospice Moonlight Walk.
The atmosphere was fantastic, with entertainment from New York Brass Band, Thomas Clubbercise and of course Mixie the Monster.
Despite lightening dancing around York that night, the threatened storm kept its distance – and the walkers stayed dry.
Each and every person involved helped the hospice and should be very proud of what was achieved.
