Spark York are set to host a series of festive film screenings.
The quirky venue on Piccadilly are giving York residents the chance to sit down and enjoy a Christmas classic with friends and family this month.
The three outdoor movie screenings will be Home Alone (Tuesday 10 December), Love Actually (Tuesday 17 December) and Elf (Sunday 22 December).
The festive film screenings will take place under the shelter of Spark’s roof, with electric heaters and blankets provided to cosy up with on the cold nights.
Tickets are £5 per person, and include headphones to allow for uninterrupted audio and a free mulled wine or non-alcoholic alternative.
Dogs are also welcome, with grain-free mince pie traybakes for each pooch accompanying their owner.
Luke Castle, marketing and events lead at Spark York, commented: “Christmas is the time to eat amazing food and watch festive movies. Our traders have the amazing food covered, so we thought it would make perfect sense to bring outdoor screenings of our Christmas classics to the city centre.
“We can promise you warmth, good vibes, and lots of festive cheer. Grab your friends, family, even your dogs – Christmas is all about being around those you love and these screenings aim to do exactly that.”
