A badly damaged car is sealed off behind police tape in York.
The Vauxhall Astra has been apparently abandoned on St Margaret’s Terrace off Navigation Road.
It is clearly visible to the tourists walking along the nearby city walls.
Car location
The car has a smashed windscreen. The bonnet is also damaged.
It is covered by a plastic sheet held in position by tape saying ‘police evidence’.
A traffic cone has been placed on the car roof.
