Presenter and Skateboarder, Ryan Swain from Malton and Norton, will be skateboarding a gruelling 100 miles in support of Cancer Research UK.
He wants to raise money and awareness for the Wheel 100 Appeal.
The challenge of the appeal is to complete 100 miles on any form of wheels in May and raise money for life-saving cancer research.
He will be kicking and pushing his way all over North Yorkshire to rack up the miles in exchange for sponsors and donations.
Ryan said “It’s one close to my heart as my father Paul has had cancer three times in different places and is thankfully still with us but I know the pain and trauma it can cause not just to the person affected but also their family.”
He also added if you roller skate, skateboard or cycle you can get involved by going to the Cancer Research UK website and signing up.
You can support Ryan here too.
It comes 10 years on from his last skateboarding record which was set on May 5th 2012 in memory of Laura Louby Tierney and he skated 56.2 miles in 5 hours.
