New to Clifton Green, sisters Emma and Abby after many years of talking about working with one another have opened Kin Body & Sole; York’s newest physiotherapy and podiatry clinic.
Bringing their complimentary clinical skills together and shared values in providing excellent patient care has been a long term dream for them both with Abby commenting;
“We have been extremely focused on creating a welcoming, modern clinic and have already had lots of fantastic compliments on what we have created.
Our primary aim is to ensure that all of our patients feel relaxed and get maximum benefit from their treatments.”
As a podiatrist with 18 years NHS experience, Abby specialises in any foot and lower limb issues from core podiatry including ingrowing toenails, corns and callouses through to diabetic foot health complaints as well as treating plantar fasciitis and other complex biomechanical problems.
Emma, a mum of 3, is passionate about all things Women’s Health. She treats women of all ages who may be struggling with a host of pregnancy, menopause or pelvic floor issues. Asked about this specialist range of services, Emma states “Whatever the cause there is so much that can be done. Women should not be suffering in silence.” Emma also provides general physiotherapy services to men and women.
Since the clinic opened in September, a range of patients from across the region have been through the doors.
“We genuinely feel lucky to have this opportunity to come together, serve the York community and have fun along the way.
We have many plans for the future so watch this space!”
