A road has reopened after a serious crash near York.
It was on the A64 westbound, near the Buckles Inn. Drivers were asked to avoid the area for several hours after the incident at about 3.20pm on Sunday.
A car and a motorbike collided.

The westbound carriageway was shut completely between Copmanthorpe and Bilbrough Top. One lane had reopened by 4.44pm, and now the road is fully open again.
North Yorkshire Police initially said at 3.43pm: “We’re currently dealing with a serious RTC on the A64 near the Buckles Inn.
“The collision is on the westbound carriageway and the road is currently blocked.
“Traffic is building and motorists are advised to avoid the area.”
The AA said: “Road closed and queueing traffic due to serious crash on A64 westbound from A1237 (Copmanthorpe roundabout) to Redhill Field Lane (Bilbrough Top).
“The closure is affecting traffic between Bilbrough and Bishopthorpe.”
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Tadcaster responded to a road traffic collision involving a car and motorcycle.
“Crews provided scene safety for ambulance staff and used a hose reel jet to wash away petrol and coolant from road.”
