Selby Superbowl are hosting a 24 hour bowl-a-thon this weekend – to raise money for two brilliant charities.
The fundraising event will see team members from the venue go head to head in the ultimate bowling tournament, with the aim to raise money for The Snappy Trust and the Give A Duck Foundation.
The 24 hour bowl-a-thon will take place at Selby Superbowl from 12pm on Saturday 14 to 12pm Sunday 15 September.
The venue is encouraging the local community to come down and show their support – as well as joining in the fun!
The 24 hour event will also feature exciting raffles, DJs to set the party mood and YorkMix will be there too giving out some great prizes.
Ryan and Rus from the Selby Superbowl will be leading their team in the bowl-a-thon.
The Snappy Trust is a York-based charity in York that aims to maximise the personal development of and provide a community for children and young people with wide ranging disabilities.
The Give A Duck Foundation is a children’s cancer charity, that supports children throughout the UK who have been diagnosed with cancer.
There will be plenty of donations buckets at the Bowl during the event – but if you can’t make it down there’s also a Just Giving page setup for donations.
Good luck to those taking part!
