The Christmas lights were switched on in Selby this weekend – sponsored by Selby College – were you there?
It took place on Saturday 30 November, and was a day of Christmas family fun with over 40 stalls to browse through in the Market, entertainment from local school choirs, donkeys, and a special visit from Santa himself.
The fabulous festive event was hosted by YorkMix Radio. It was organised by Selby Town Council and sponsored by Jordan’s Solicitors, and was sponsored on YorkMix by Selby College.
The lights were then switched on at 4pm.
There were also hot food and drink stalls and specialty bars, and plenty of gift stalls to get ahead on your Christmas shopping!
The event was a huge success with lots of families coming out to enjoy all the seasonal fun.
